When I went to school at my age of seven, this story was the first thing my teacher taught. she encouraged me not to be afraid to make desicions about my future. Moreover, she warned me that nothing is easy and smooth at first; it becomes so when you start to familiarize with it. As it is said “ familiarity breeds contempt”. While I was having acute knowledge at school, I got interested in economics and engineering.

STUDY PLAN IN DETAIL

Name of Applicant  :  Iskandar Rasulov Murodjonovich

The first time a fox saw a lion, he was so terrified that he almost died of fright.

When he saw him again, he was still afraid, but hid his fear.

But when he met him the third time, he was so brave he began to talk to him as though they were old friends.

This interest led me to Tashkent Institude of Railway Engineering, and luckily,  I was accepted to the Economics and Management faculty. I tried to be purposeful and learned each subject with high interest. The knowledge that I gained at Institute helped me a lot when I started my work at State Join Stock Railway Company “Uzbekistan Railways”. I am exposed to several duties and fulfilling them successfully. However, I feel strong need to improve my skills at Master`s degree, and learn new methods of economics for my future development. As Uzbekistan is getting involved in the globalization process, the need for economist is also growing rapidly from day to day. The importance of this job is improving……….. If we come from this point of view, we can say that being economist is quite serious job that cannot be taken lightly. The skills required for this job range everywhere from the ability to identify, analyze and solve problems; the ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing; the aptitude for computing and designing; practicality and creativity; the ability to work without supervision and so on. I should admit that there are several professional economists in Uzbekistan too. But I aim to be the best of them. This is why I chose to participate exactly in this program. Another reason is the results of my observations of economy in Japan. It is considered to be one of the most developed fields. What was most surprising for me is that in spite of the complexity of each construction, it is built rather fast and successfully. In my opinion, there should be some ways of gaining this kind of achievement. And I will pay more attention to this point while I study there. Moreover, I will get involved in social activities such as celebrations, shows, competitions as I intend to learn the language as well as culture of this country. At the same time, I will introduce my Japanese mates my own culture as we have the most interesting and valuable traditions that are worth to be learned by other nations.

Finally, I consider it honor to study in Japan as its economy is growing tremendously and has gained my great interest to learn the Japanese method of development.

After having acute knowledge, and coming back to my home country, I intend to fulfill several aims briefly described below:

  • Getting involved in several projects that are planned to be constructed in several years from now, and my graduation date will fit to the start point of those projects. Due to the fact that railway transport plays essential role in realization of economic ties with the neighbor states, construction of new railway line has strategic significance for the Republic of Uzbekistan. In the long term SJSRC “Uzbek Railways” is going to construct new railway braches on Chinese-Kirgiz-Uzbek railway line under the project of revival of ancient turnpike – Great Silk Road, and new Angren-Pap direction. The Chinese-Kirgiz-Uzbek railway line is supposed to create transit transport corridor which will be able to ensure magnification of passenger and transport carriages from countries of Central Asia, Caucasia, Near and Middle East to China and other countries of Asia-Pacific region, and will ensure access to seaports. I aim to take active part in these projects.
  • Consolidating the relations between Uzbekistan and Japan. By the help of my construction works I will be a bridge between two nations, and improve the relations as it is beneficial for both countries.
  •   Doing a research work based on the improvement of economic infrastructure in Japan.
